1) The proper etiquette and method of making du'a is to be derived from:

2) Why is du'a a form of worship?

1. Because it can be used as a replacement for other obligatory acts of worship such as Hajj and fasting.
2. Because Allah orders us to make du'a to Him and He is the only One Who Hears everything.
3. Because it is from the actions of our pious predecessors.
4. Du'a is not a form of worship rather the five daily prayers are a form of worship.

3) The Arabic word ‘Du'a’ means:

1. to ask your Lord for His help and support.

4) Weeping whilst making du'a:

1. shows human weakness and is disliked by Allah.
2. shows sincerity and humbles a person before Allah.

5) Du'a made to anyone other than Allah:

1. is more effective and meaningful.

6) Before making du'a one must realize that:

1. if the du'a goes unanswered there are many others that we can call upon for help.
2. Allah can only respond to one individual at a time.
3. only Allah responds to du'a.
4. Allah can only give to us from what is within His limited power.

7) Whilst making du'a one may ask for:

1. only that which is good.
2. anything whether it is good or bad.
3. only those things which he does not already have.
4. only those things that are related to spirituality.
